You may be thinking that we can’t move your teeth that much, which means you can’t get the smile that you were dreaming off, but straight teeth technology has changed. What we find is that when our patients have their braces removed, they often say “How did you do that, how did that happen?”.
That’s what we love about orthodontic treatment. The change in you as a person. You get more confident afterwards and we’ve often been told that “It’s changed my life” or “I smile more confidently”.
There are thousands of people like you who think the same things. Unbelievably it is never too late for you to get the smile that you want and with the advances that have been made within dentistry there is no need for you to wear unsightly braces for what could be years on end! We’ve treated adults of all ages who are just looking to change their smile to one that they have always wanted.
Everyone’s smile is unique to them and because of this there are a number of techniques that we use here at Farsley Dental so that your dream smile can be achieved.
Who is Matt? He’s the winner of the ‘Best Young Dentist’ award at the Dentistry Awards 2019. Matt enjoys improving the appearance of teeth and seeing the extra confidence that this can bring to his patients. He also enjoys providing pain-free dentistry in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Matt spends a lot of his time giving back. He has volunteered to treat people in Cambodia, India, the Philippines, the Bornean rain forest, Fiji, the Peruvian Amazon and recently in the Syrian refugee camps in northern Greece, and is soon to be running a trip to the refugee camps in Calais.
Invisalign treatment is often an ideal way to tackle more complex straightening cases with stubborn teeth that just don’t want to move. Orthodontics has come a long way over the past few decades. Thanks to Invisalign (the most popular US brand), it’s now possible to use near-invisible removal aligners or invisible braces instead of fixed braces to straighten teeth.

Case Study: This patient asked about what could be done for her crossed over upper front teeth. Matt gently straightened her teeth using the cosmetic Quick Straight Teeth™ system, which took only six months.
A thin wire retainer was then bonded in place, which cannot be seen from the front, in order to hold the teeth in place in the future and prevent them from returning to their previous position. A course of tooth whitening was then carried out to improve the shade of the teeth.
