Jon Swarbrigg
Jon is married to Lorna and they have two children, James and Isla. Their many family pets include a dog called Murphy, two cats named Fergus and Dexter, two guinea pigs called Otis and George, a hamster called Bella and a bearded dragon who goes by the name of Woody.
To relax, Jon coaches rugby at West Park Leeds RUFC and cricket at Horsforth Cricket Club.
Jon’s philosophy is that “teeth are for life”. He treats all patients with aesthetic, minimally invasive techniques using modern materials and equipment to preserve teeth, just as he would want his own teeth to be treated.
He qualified from Leeds Dental Institute in 1992 and passed membership exams of the Faculty of General Dental Practice in February 2005. In 2009 he was awarded the Diploma in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, being awarded the Dentsply gold medal for the most outstanding student.
Jon undertook research at Leeds University to gain an MSc in Restorative Dentistry in 2011 with a particular interest in Endodontics, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012.
He has travelled extensively to further his knowledge and experience alongside some of the key opinion leaders in the world of Restorative Dentistry. In turn, Jon has lectured extensively in the UK, Europe and in South Africa on adhesive restorative dental techniques and materials.
With over 30 years’ experience in dentistry, Jon has developed a unique 6 step process when treating people to ensure they keep their teeth for life and achieve a smile they can be proud of. After all, everyone deserves a great smile!

Matt Condon
Matt provides routine and aesthetic dentistry, improving people’s appearance and enjoying seeing the extra confidence that this can bring to people. He also enjoys being able to alleviate people’s dental pain, providing pain-free dentistry in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Matt believes in using a minimally invasive approach, often straightening teeth using Invisalign® or cosmetic fixed braces, whitening and using purely additive ‘composite bonding’ as opposed to destructive traditional techniques.
Matt qualified from Sheffield Dental School in 2010 after five years of training, and was awarded an honours degree for high achievement as well as the Medical Chirurgical Society’s elective prize. In 2012 he was awarded the diploma of membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He then worked as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Pinderfields Hospital before returning to general practice, and was very happy to be invited to join the team at Farsley.
He completed the Diploma in Restorative Dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons, learning to manage complex cases with the most up-to-date techniques. He then undertook a year of postgraduate research to convert this to a Masters degree, which he passed with distinction. The findings from his research were published in the British Dental Journal, the profession’s main national publication, and he has also published cases in ‘Dental Practice’ magazine. Matt has since been asked to review research for entry into ‘Clinical & Experimental Dental Research’ as well as the British Dental Journal.
Matt also won the prestigious ‘Best Young Dentist’ award at the national ‘Dentistry awards’, as judged by a respected panel of dental professionals.
He has carried out many trips abroad providing emergency dental treatment to people otherwise without access to dental care. He volunteered for 6 months after university and still volunteers each year, which includes work in Cambodia, India, the Bornean rainforest, Fiji, the Peruvian Amazon and most recently refugee camps in Greece and Bangladesh, working with the Rohingya refugees displaced from Myanmar.
In his spare time he is a keen cyclist, when possible travelling abroad to find big hill climbs! He also enjoys swimming, hiking with his wife, watching live music and travelling.
