My dental career began back in 1983,when I trained as a Dental Surgery Assistant at the Dental Hospital in Leeds, before moving to South Wales to train as a Dental Hygienist at the Dental School, Cardiff.
Post qualification, I initially worked part-time in the Community Dental Service treating Children & Special Needs and part-time in General Practice. Over the years I have gained a wealth of experience in both the NHS & Private sectors. I find the most rewarding part of my work is being able to motivate patients in how to look after their teeth and gums and maintain a healthy smile. Having worked at Farsley Dental Practice since September 2005 I have been able to form relationships with my patients and although at times they must think that I’m ‘a hard taskmaster’ I’m sure they appreciate what we’re trying to achieve. I very much look forward to many more years working as part of the team at Farsley Dental Practice. |
