Farsley Take Silver Award
Farsley have just been awarded silver membership on the BDA good practice
scheme. Silver membership recognises our ongoing commitment to the good
practice scheme,
with 7 years continuous membership; it is a significant
achievement and is certainly worth celebrating. The BDA Good Practice Scheme is
a quality assurance programme for UK dental practices. By becoming members of
the Scheme, we demonstrate a visible commitment to providing quality dental care
to nationally recognised best practice standards.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has accepted that membership of the Scheme is a reliable indication that we are using a QA framework. Practices meeting the Scheme standard should be well positioned for meeting CQC compliance.
The Scheme can be used by all providers of outpatient dental care including general dental practices both private and NHS, specialists practices, salaried primary dental care services, armed forces clinics and outpatient departments
We are extremely proud of this achievement, only 10 practices in the whole of West Yorkshire have qualified for the silver membership.
